World Diabetes Day, Eye on Diabetes

Today is a special day, the World Diabetes Day, from the team of "The Corner of the Diabetic" we want to take the opportunity to show our total commitment to the cause.

Diabetes World Day was created in 1991 as a means to raise global awareness of #Diabetes. It is a perfect opportunity to direct the attention of the public to the causes, symptoms, complications and treatment of this serious condition, which is constantly increasing throughout the world.

World Diabetes Day is celebrated each year on November 14. This date was chosen as the anniversary of Frederick Banting who, together with Charles Best, conceived the idea that would lead them to the discovery of insulin, in October 1921.
