10 Things that you probably did not know about Diabetes # 3

Did you know that about one third of all people with diabetes do not know they have the disease?

In fact, only one in 100 people could identify the main symptoms and only one in five would be able to spot a single one, according to a survey that took place in 2016 specially for World Diabetes Day.

Nowadays about 46% of people with diabetes are undiagnosed, it means that about 270 million people with diabetes don not know that they have the disease. Luckily many Governments are aware of these figures and taking appropriate measure to increase the awareness of diabetes to have it under control.
